The owner is super nice checking time is 3pm I arrived at 1:15pm and he checked me in right away. Not having a counter at 24/7 wasn't a big deal to me as I was out and about most of the day. The room was modern and nice plus my back terrace was excellent. If you are looking for a place with a terrace ask for room 304 or 305. No elevator but the hotel only have 3 floors. The location is amazing specially if you like to be close to bars, restaurants, boat trip, water market, the harbor, stores. Is hard to find a convenient store or super market in downtown so if you have a chance to stop by a place before to buy water and snack I recommend you to do so. The last day of my stay the owner and I sit and talk a little bit about the city and the good times to visit ( August). He is renovating and will have employees in the bar restaurant and cafe from 7:30am till 11pm at all times. If you are looking for a nice place that is close to many attractions this is the place

We visited ASA Sushi at the hotel. The food was great and the service was prompt. The sushi is made in the same spot as the dining area so you could see/smell the sushi being prepared. There was a wide selection to choose from on the menu and it was all very reasonably priced. We would return again!

I ate at ASA Sushi in the Franklin Hotel. The space was clean and well maintained. The service was good, even though there was only three staff for the whole main level (bar and restaurant).
