A must stop on the Trans Canadian highway! Velma has done wonders with this bright, cheerful place. The food was perfect, the dining room was much, much cuter than you'd expect from the outside, and Velma was kind enough to give us a tour of the rooms, which are being lovingly restored by hand by Velma and her family. A real gem, a special place! I bought a Junction Inn mug, and it's my most treasured souvenir from a two week trip traveling through Newfoundland.

I love stopping in here whenever Im on the TCH. They got really good moose burgers, thunder crunch platters, and homemade turkey vegetable soup. I can be picky when it comes to fries, these fries are wicked good! Nice and crispy, not soggy at all. Their soup makes me feel like Im at my nan's. The staff there are super friendly too!

Great meal & friendly staff, squid rings were amazing. We stopped over on the way to the West Coast, it was so good that we stopped in on the way back. Velma is a fantastic lady and cook. I have ate a lot of baked beans and squid rings all over Newfoundland, but these were the best, and the squid is local. We plan on stopping there every time we visit the West Coast of Newfoundland.
