My wife and I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite for 4 nights during our honeymoon and cannot say enough positive things about the Mariner King Inn. We ended up checking in after hours but they left plenty of communication to help us get settled into our room. The Honeymoon Suite itself was incredibly spacious and very romantic. Seeing pictures online, I was a little concerned the ceilings would be kind of low but they were plenty high for myself (I am 6 ft 2 in tall). The bathroom was clean and spacious with both a shower and a bathtub. The room had 2 sitting areas in addition to a private deck. And lastly, the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The breakfast provided each morning was kind of small but everything was good quality; we particularly enjoyed the nicely brewed coffee. Another great thing about the Inn is it is located right in the heart of Lunenburg with lots of good restaurants, cafes, and attractions within a very short walking distance. I can't recommend the Mariner King Inn enough. My wife and I have already discussed coming back for another visit sometime on an anniversary.

What a fantastic place to stay in Lunenburg! The beds were so comfortable I didn't want to get up for breakfast, but I'm so glad I did. Scones, bagels, fresh fruit, cheese, sliced meat, coffee, tea, juice, and more. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed one night during June 2018. The staff were very helpful, and gave us some great tips on where to eat, where to take pictures of Lunenburg and how to enjoy our stay in the town. The room we had was very nice, and remembering we were in a period building reminded us of our stays in European old world hotels. It wasn't the Westin, but it was a step up from most small hotels. I would stay here again. The parking is limited, but not difficult to manage. All you have to do, is go for a walk around the old town to realize you are getting good value for your dollar.

Loved our stay. The decor and style bring you back in time. Very clean, cosy, affordable and very close to the waterfront. Love that they support local business by using Fiore Botanica products in the restroom. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a Lunenburg getaway!

Stayed here for a night while cycling around Nova Scotia. We had room 206 in the Cranberry addition. Everything was great--loved the large shower and the air conditioning units. Took the elevator a couple times to see the murals. Breakfast was more self-serve than other places we stayed but that was fine with me. This Inn was my husband's favorite from our trip.
