I really liked this place. The harbour view was worth it, but you have to be on one of the higher floors. It was nice to have a modern room close by to the main attractions. The breakfast was the typical North American version of a continental. They did have a mixture of cereals (muesli) to make it a healthier option. You could pay extra ($3) to get American bacon, if you really wanted it that badly. The staff a great and I was on the receiving end of some great customer service. I would have given it 5 stars if the breakfast was up to European standards. Car parking is extra and they have ice machines on some of the floors. They also have a restaurant and free drink hour, should you wish to meet up with other guests.

Its location and old architecture makes it adorable. The front office staff is very good to average. The lobby with complimentary hot and cold beverages is a cozy place after any outing. The pantry allows you to cook light meals and grocery shops are at a walking distance making your stay economical. However the complimentary breakfast is too basic. It is just the same every day and almost no choice for vegetarians. Same fruits and fried potatoes, boiled eggs and breads and muffins made our long stay too monotonous. Food is just average.The guests laundry is a very good option. Washing drying a big lot for a reasonable charge is a great help.

Pros: Awesome location. Close to everything. Nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Cons: walls are thin. Woke up at midnight by kids playing in the next room. I can be a little cheap, but I found $22 a night for parking to be a little steep.

Terrible experience having planned a wedding get-together with friends and warned the hotel far in advance after booking a large suite. Because of a nearby room getting noise complaints we were also kicked out of the hotel even though we weren’t even playing music and were very quiet. This was at 11pm on a Saturday night. Literally the quietest hotel rendezvous I had ever been a part of and they made us leave the hotel and wouldn’t refund even though we didn’t stay there. Having worked in customer service my whole lot I’ve never been so upset with the way the staff dealt with he situation. I strongly advise not booking here - unless you’re part of the undead and can’t talk or you might get kicked out.

Great location! A lot of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, stores, and best yet - the waterfront is all in walking distance. Clean, professional, and helpful! Places were recommended to us to eat and check out all the time. Great hotel!
