We stayed at the Hollis for four nights with our 2 young kids. What a great hotel. Clean, modern and wonderful customer service. At 615am I was down getting a coffee with my 1 year old and the waitress was nice enough to put the tv on cartoons so I could sit and enjoy my coffee. Staff was wonderful. The only downside to this hotel is the continental breakfast does come at a fee. In saying that there are grocery stores close enough you can stock the little kitchenette with everything you need. Will come back if in the area.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of construction in downtown Halifax right now and the staff were kind enough to move us to the other side of the hotel. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to supply us with the amenities that we had forgotten. Jenna was particularly helpful. Clean and functional with a nice aesthetic. Comfortable beds and excellent location. Parking is extra but very nearby.

A great boutique style hotel in the heart of downtown. Very well appointed and updated rooms and amenities including a pool, in room dining, a bar, and a steakhouse. A couple of blocks from the convention centre and all the pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful and modern hotel. The view of the harbour is lovely and the rooms are very clean and spacious. They have a nice pool also. The restaurant downstairs, Ryan Duffy's, has great food and is a must if you're staying here. The hotel is smack dab in the middle of downtown so walking distance to all the fun.

Very comfortable, elegant, clean and well located. It is not a hotel room, it is more like an apartment with a very spacious and nicely appointed living room in addition to the bedroom. I highly recommend it.
