Our accommodation in the area fell through and we were in a bind. Mabou River Inn was able to accommodate us. Staff are very friendly and our room was clean. My daughter enjoyed meeting the two local dogs. Would return

An absolutely wonderful place to stay. Our hosts were overwhelmingly accommodating. Mabou is a beautiful little town and I highly recommend staying here. I definitely will be again! Thank you!

On the way to Cabot Trail, this is a nice stop. It is not on the water but just off the main road and close to good hiking trails AND the Red Shoe Pub. Also they have the most comfortable beds on Cape Breton. Breakfast was self serve basic buffet but we were there in September. Maybe it's different in the summer. No decaf coffee, just cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, etc. Location and beds were great. Modern bathroom. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely place! We had the 2 bedroom basement apartment (apartment #2) it was very comfortable. Only problem was the upstairs apartment being very loud and walking around very late into the night. Still a very nice place to stay and we would stay here again for sure. Head over to the old church and ring the bell!
