Check in was slow and the carpets were very dirty. There was a smell in the air that was stale and off putting. It was a two night stay and the ice machine was not working either night. After frustration kicked in, I went to the store and bought a bag of ice. There was a breakfast in the morning with waffles.....but no syrup. The hotel was warm and clammy. The rooms were equally smelly compared to the rest of the hotel. After lifting my mattress I discovered a used washcloth with stains and a pubic hair. I won't be returning to Days Inn in Guelph.

Room smells old as well as the carpet looks like it needs a steam or something. Requested a playpen for the baby as we're staying for 3 days for nothing for all those days. Need to go back to front desk to change room card as it didn't work everytime for the first two days. Receptionists are friendly though and would help you. The breakfast isn't that bad and lots of options.

Room is nice. Comfy and had whatever things I needed. Never called a front desk

it was my first trip to Canada and i had a very disappointing impression of this hotel compared to the expense. On the webpage it says there is currency exchange, which was not actually. Internet doesn't work well often. Rooms are very dark, old, no elevators, air conditioner very old and noisy. Breakfast staff was very unkind and the food was very very disappointing - some cold eggs (sometimes gone), some basic cereal, non-fresh bread, muffins, bagel and almost that's all you can eat at breakfast. Among several hotels around the university of guelph, this is located in the most distance. Only the photos on the webpage and the outside appearance were nice.

Very old and outdated hotel. Needs a renovation badly. Rooms were not very clean. Tidy but not clean. Staff was excellent.
