My husband is a truck driver, so when we get the chance to spend the night together, we usually do so at Motel 6.

I thought it may be worth it to get a discount through the My6 app........ What discount?
We have paid the same amount for a room on a week night that I paid through the My6 app.
We got into the room and it was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!
Both beds were undone, there was garbage everywhere, dirty condoms and food containers, towels on the floor, and someone was clearly smoking something other than cigarettes (hubby and I are both smokers so we always ask for a smoking room)..... It wasn't marijuana either
I told the receptionist that the room hadnt been touched
She then interrupted me with a snotty tone
We were given another smoking room, which was clean
This is the second time in 2 weeks, the last one wasn't so bad, but even then, the person at the desk, shrugged his shoulders and stated, "there's nothing I can do, we're full"
I don't believe they value the meaning of customer service.
Also the clothing dryer near the window in the guest laundry room hasn't worked for months.
Will be deleting the useless app and will not been returning.
We have given this place several chances
We have encountered bed bugs, police running down the halls in the middle of the night and rude, careless staff.
Never again!
