The lady was rude. We didn't ask to be put on hold; I simply inquired about the availability of a room. The lady on the phone, who had just finished dealing with another customer's frustration regarding being put on hold, took her frustration out on us. Please understand that customers can also be frustrated or exhausted. Don't expect them to always be extremely patient; as customers, we expect good service (not exceptional, but at least satisfactory). If you find yourself taking your frustrations out on customers, then I'm sorry to say that you are not fit for the job. A suggestion: if you feel frustrated, find someone else to cover for you. We, as customers, shouldn't have to compromise. I don't believe it's unreasonable for us to expect good service in exchange for what we pay. NB: Just replying to your comment, sorry I know it's nothing for you, but I'm not interested in getting your service in the future. I hope you could provide others with the good service they expect. Thanks for your response.

We drove from Pennsylvania, US to take care of a family member that had recently had a stroke. I found the Americana via Google and was absolutely blown away once we arrived. We were greeted by the owner who was quite wonderful and understanding of our situation, even allowing us to check in to room 16 early. The room was immaculate, the beds were crazy comfortable, the water pressure and temp in the shower was perfect, the fridge and microwave came in very handy...what more could anyone ask for!!! I whole heartedly recommend any one visiting the area to book a stay there. I want to thank the owner for her kindness, welcoming smile and sense of humor, something sorely lacking in customer service these days!! We will be back!!

I stay at this motel every week traveling from Quebec to toronto then back to Quebec, I have to say my room was clean and up-to-date it even has a fridge and microwave, coldest air conditioning in my room , also it is immaculately clean. I had a very quiet and peaceful sleep at this motel and was refreshed and ready to hit the road in the morning. The lady at the front desk who greeted me was kind caring and such a wonderful personality . I have absolutely no complains about this place It is home away from home. P.s free wifi ! Yay!
