I guess there isn't anything more than a 5 star? This is for the front desk lady Roberta. This young lady is such a kind soul and let me explain why, so my exhausted, busy self booked a room for my girlfriend and I to visit her family in Bowmanville and to which I thought was for April12-14.
We arrived pretty early (even though the drive felt pretty long) I thought why not give it a shot and try to check in early as I went in and chatted with the lovely Roberta she said "you don't have a reservation it was for April 11 and because you did not come in it was canceled and you have been charged" my jaw dropped I went through my emails to which I see that she was correct and I pulled a rookie move!!!
I explained how sorry I was and it was an honest mistake and that I thought I had booked it for the weekend to see family and she basically said say no more, she was able to make a new reservation, find us a room, allow us to check in at that moment, she did some sort of magic to the no show fee, she even gave us a king room AND she offered us a late check out on Sunday. All of that she had a smile on her face, she was so very welcoming and understanding and she is a true definition of what customer service should be like.
