The staff are always available and friendly. It has many services (laundry, convenience items, free wi-fi etc) including breakfast with a comfortable room to eat. Rooms are well sized and very clean. Tim Hortons is across the street and is 10 minutes to Calypso. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The only negative is no pool, and the immediate area is completely devoid of any entertainment. Must drive into Ottawa for that.

Great service. Rooms are well maintained and staff are friendly. Breakfast is good as well. Always a pleasure staying at Microtels!

Me and my wife booked a room at this hotel roughly 2 weeks before the scheduled day. The day of we arrived and was given our room at 9am. We then left for the rest of the day only to return at 11pm to find out they had given our room away to someone else. Thankfully we had not left any of our belongings... They then informed us the hotel was completely booked with no way for them to make it up to us. Leaving us no choice but to leave in search for another one...

This is a very nice hotel, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The price was very affordable. I was in the area on business and decided to stay there as it was central for a number of meetings. I would stay here again.
