Update: I spoke with Theresa and Mimi at the front desk and they were absolutely fantastic!!! Our late night check in was not smooth, that is true, but the staff in the morning was outstanding. Breakfast was very good and the pool was the best hotel pool we have ever experienced! The children had a wonderful time playing, and our whole stay turned completely around!! Original: Negative check in experience. Staff is rude and unbelievably apathetic. Hotel is run down, smells terrible, and is dirty. We checked into a room that smelled like someone head taking a number 2 in the toilets and left it... It smells musty and terrible, heavily smelling of mildew and mold. We walked the long walk back to the front desk only to change rooms to a different room that smells better, but had very wet floors. The bathtub was scuffed, there were clumps of dirt in the corners, the lamp shades were broken , and ripped, see the attached pictures. The hallways are old and musty, and the whole experience was not a great first impression. We were then told that the pool was still open, so we headed to the pool where my key did not work. I went to the front desk and they told me that I just needed to use a different door. When I went back and use the other door, it still did not work. So at this point we had two rooms that were not up to standards, and we're unable to use the pool. When I tried to talk to the front desk about it, Chelsea raised her voice at me and pushed off all of the problems on someone else. The rooms were not her fault because she was not working for housekeeping, which is understandable, she's not expected to know the exact status of every room, but rather than blaming everyone else you could at least say I'm sorry for your experience. The pool door must not have been working in that must be maintenance his fault not hers, well it was showing a yellow light, so she could at least try to solve the problem. They expected me to continue to move rooms at 11 p.m. with two children who have been traveling all day. Absolutely not worth the hassle, absolutely not worth the money, what a negative experience. Do not stay here if you want to stay somewhere clean, good smelling, and with pleasant staff.

Over all, this hotel is super nice. Check in was super easy. The security is also very good. The breakfast was amazing. Everything was so good, and fresh. The staff was super friendly. The beds were super comfortable. I slept so great! My only complaints were, the construction. We couldn’t even get in the parking lot. Also, the room service wasn’t very good. They didn’t even touch our bed, they also didn’t take the trash out for us. I changed the trash bag and left it by the door for them and they didn’t get it. I asked for another laundry bag, and they didn’t leave it. But over all, I would recommend this hotel. It’s beautiful.

Super happy with this place. Clean, very friendly staff, the breakfast buffet was some of the best breakfast food I've had. Even Better than Cracker barrel & Bob Evan's breakfast. Super impressed. Nothing like typical nasty buffet food. Pool is awesome.

The staff was a delight. Extremely helpful and friendly which was needed after a lomg day of flight delays and cancellations. They even found us a few places still serving food that delivered. The room was also very clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend it.

Rooms a little dated but clean enough. I was staying on an airline voucher so can't speak to prices. Restaurant was nice.
