When I arrived, the place was dark and no one was there to greet me. I arrived sometime around 6:30pm, which is within the check in hours. After I came back from dinner and was getting ready for bed, Laura popped in out of no where and said hello. She seemed very nice. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the upstairs/bathroom reeked of mould and the shower was extremely small. I am small framed person. In the morning I went down for breakfast, to find only cereal and yogurt. Both of which I cannot eat as I am lactose intolerant . There was some bread on the counter I think for toast but I left to eat. I felt very uncomfortable. I saw Laura for a brief second and that was the last I saw of anyone. No one was around when I left.

Place was amazingly welcoming, we slept like babies! The place is super clean and the host was very kind to us. The best place to stay in Kingston!

I booked one night at L'sB&B in late Aug2018. Did not want to be in downtown Kingston. Looked forward to a pastoral location. Arrived late by train from Toronto, caught a cab. It was technically about a 10 minute drive away, but the cabbie did not follow his GPS diligently enough, so it took a wee bit longer (and he charged less as a result). It was dark when I arrived, let myself in (via the keypad code) into a pristine, cozy, charming, seemingly vacant farmhouse. Left my shoes at the door, per the instructions. Did not feel one crumb or grain of sand underneath my Princess-and-the-Pea feet. Smooth and clean as can be. Despite the extreme humidity outdoors, it was cool and dry inside. I had been upgraded to a queen bed from the single I had booked. It occurs to me now that there was no TV-- it would have been jarringly out of place. The shared bathroom was spotless and large. The best thing of all: the crisply ironed white sheets on the bed-- such high quality, so old-school. The next morning I learned I had slept right through an ear-splitting thunderstorm. Breakfast was self-serve, basic, healthy, with organic fruits and home-made jams, well-organized, immaculately prepared. Had a lovely long conversation with Laura herself, and thanked her for maintaining such a pleasant and welcoming place. Excellent value if you, like me, appreciate good quality, simplicity, and charm.

Nice, quaint b&b off the beaten track. Breakfast was decent, self serve - nothing fancy but good quality and clean. Caution on the squeaky bed in the room with the King size bed!

The B & B seemed up to be as automated as possible. I got the feeling that the owner wants minimal interaction with her guests. There are notes everywhere posted in the house telling you what you can and can't do, where you can go and can't go. The hotel is located in a remote and quiet area which was very pleasant. The rooms and the house itself is spotlessly clean. The shower was beyond minuscule in size, it was a real challenge to get things done! Breakfast was self-serve and the options were cereal, toast or an apple. Overall I expected more from a B&B in terms of interaction with the owner/staff, and also with breakfast options. I would stay there again if only for the quiet, peaceful location.
