First of all, the moment I walked in the door of the General Wolfe Inn I felt as if I were at home with a county home town vibe. The plate ordered was absolutely astonishing. The fries were fantastic. The beer was nice and cold just the way I like it. Would highly recommend to anyone deciding to have a quick bite and a pint while horn tripping on the island.

The Wolfe is under new ownership and new management. I've met the owner who is very nice and is making so many changes for the better. They have practically rebuilt their outdoor patio snack bar where they do sell beer etc. They have fixed up the marina so there is plenty of room for people with boats as well as cars. They have rooms available for those who wish to stay.

Was there for a drink on the waterfront. The location is really serene. It is good company, good drinks, and good vibes all around. The staff is fun, the food is good, and the view is really the cherry on top. Will always be back.

EDIT - from one star review from 2008-2012... New owners, can't speak to the current status as I haven't been back, but under new ownership & couldn't leave an old review in good conscience when it sounds like new owners are doing good things. --- From 2008-2012 for work. Questionable food. Cockroaches in multiple rooms. Heat failed multiple times. Ceilings dripping in heavy rains. etc.

New Management has been making such a huge effort to upgrade the food service. The New patio grill with water views, shade , music and really really good food,
