The room was semi-clean, but the walls needed a good scrub. The linens, curtains, and carpets had been updated, but the 70s wainscotting was still in place. The lamps seemed like they were 40+ years old. The television and wifi services were acceptable for my needs, but I am pretty easy-going in that department. There was a sink/stove top/fridge combo from the 70s that could be switched for something newer, but the fridge and sink still functioned. (I didn't try out the stove top.) I noticed a draft in the night, and discovered that the weather-stripping along the bottom of the door was almost nonexistent. In the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was missing the spindle to hold the roll, and there were holes in the wall behind the door where the towel holder used to be. I am a smoker, and this is a non-smoking facility as dictated by our government. This facility was kind enough to offer butt-out locations. However, I could smell the old, stale smoke in the room. The common area seemed clean. The staff was very pleasant. Overall, it was not a terrible experience, but it wasn't the best experience.

The staff was great, very pleasant, and very accommodating!! The room however, I found the bed to be very, very soft, to the point that I didnt sleep at all and ended up with a very bad migraine the next day. If they replaced the mattresses, this would have been a 4. There are some updates needed to the hotel, eg new carpet, ours had stains and the plug was missing from the tub. I would never take a bath at a hotel, but there is always the chance of dropping my wedding ring.

The motel has been completed renovated. I was greeted warmly by the person at the front desk. My room was on the second floor of the centre section above the main reception. The renovated room and decor far exceeded my expectations. There's a small fridge, a microwave and a coffee machine in the room. The beds were comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

It was ok. Front desk put us in the wrong room and we had to move. The rooom was cozy but the housecleaning could have been better.
