Great hotel! We come to Barrie at least once a month and have stayed at a few different hotels in town. This is one of the best we've stayed at, staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and spacious, no microwave no fridge, but has a coffee maker and the other usual amenities. 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby and if you use the Hilton App you don't even need to stop at the front counter when you get here. Will definitely be back. Update June 2018; fridge should be standard in all rooms, not only on request... and not a fan personally of baked beans for breakfast. I get that its a British thing, but we live in Canada and like our meat. Give me sausage or bacon. Great little workout room, decent size pool with hot tub.

The staff was very kind to our family. The fresh waffles was a great surprise with breakfast! The suites have lots of space. We had some minor issues with our room and needed to request new sheets and towels. Other than that, it was a great experience. Thanks very much to the HHonors Customer Service and hotel staff for accommodating our family!

Absolutely scintillating. Modern decoration, very clean. Recent renovations by pool, breakfast included and 24 hr coffee. Staff was very friendly, very helpful, and answered all questions I had. More than recommended as a staycation spot in Barrie, despite the 2 star rating. Will definitely be returning again!

My husband and I stayed here for a week for a house hunting trip. At first, we were unhappy with our initial room. We were told online that we would have a mini fridge (this is important for us since we don't want to eat out every day), but we didn't have one. The reception staff was very apologetic and accommodating and switched us over to a suite the next day. We were very happy with the suite. It had a small kitchen with a sink, fridge, and microwave. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The toiletries are Neutrogena so they are actually great quality! There is a complimentary breakfast-the food was better than expected. Every day there was something different and the food was cooked fresh. There is all day coffee at the front desk and little snacks (nuts and fruit) for your trip. The pool and hot tub is a nice addition, but the maintenance was questionable. This doesn't bother me, since there isn't much to expect from a hotel pool. There is a little gym with some equipment and a couple of treadmill - it was clean and quiet. The hotel is right across from a grocery store, and about a 15 min drive from the downtown/lakeshore. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and I would recommend this to anyone visiting this area.

Great stay. Breakfast was decent for a continental. The front desk staff were amazing. We had a line up and the guy cracked jokes to keep us entertained the whole way.
