Pros: Well kept, clean rooms. Comfy beds. 1-2 outdoor cameras on premises. Curb appeal. Swimming pool. 2-3 barbecues available for use. Cons: Very racist, cranky old lady supervising during our 1 night stay. First thing she said to us because of the colour of our skin (mind you we are in our late 20s, are 100% Canadian, well groomed and speak fluent English) was not to cook curry in the room because it smells bad (we had no intention to cook anyway...). Check in was at 2pm and checkout at 10am. Before we settled in we asked to check out an hour later for $20 and she agreed. Next morning, we were awaken at 8:30am by the phone ringing and loud knocking on our door. She changed her mind at the very last minute and demanded she needed us out at 10am sharp. Absolutely unacceptable as she disturbed our sleep and PAID time of relaxation. Also, too many rules to follow, such as washing your own dishes before checking out (never have I seen this before and I have stayed in many motels and hotels), no barbecuing after 10pm, no doors left opened, no room towels to be used at swimming pool (which closes very early in the day). Small parking lot, charges $10 extra for more than 1 parking spot.

This place is immaculate! Best place to stay on the strip. They have everything, you don't even need to leave the property, although the beach is just a few minutes walk across the street. Will definitely be back!

It's an alright place to come, but the owner made me and all my friends really uncomfortable the minute we got there.. Everything else is fine, but because of that we will not be returning..we would prefer to do business with more people friendly, individuals

Could you explain this..because I don’t get it.. place calls it self resort but provides NO resort hospitality. You will be constantly watched and have a feeling of “when are you leaving”. Canada day weekend, $300 a night. The place on the outside looks fantastic. Facilities are well taken care of but rooms are still 1985. Booking was complicated, tech wise the place is still in the 90’s. Credit card over the phone and email transfer (FML). The WiFi works but you will need to get the password in the office. Beds are small and need refreshing. Signs in the room “wash your dishes”, “don’t take stuff out of the room” doesn’t make you feel resortful..lol (you will see when you get there, super annoying). NOT recommend for families, although the place looks “family friendly”, it’s not. Here is why..Tons of weird regulations in the pool area. If you have a baby, you would need a special plastic cover (which you can buy for $5 in the office), NO toys or floaters allowed in the pool Staff tries to be friendly but the owner is super strict about the crazy regulations. If you are going there, just be prepared continuously to be told how to be and what to do or not. If you come up with kids, we have 3, just be ready to watch your kids like a hawk because the owner will constantly hover over. Check out is at 10 am, and NO, you can NOT stay in the pool after check out time. You can get late check out for $20 an hour. If you are in your 50’s or 60’s, this is the place for you, just come without little ones. Unfortunately this is one of the nicest places in wasaga beach. The only reason I did not give it a 1 star is because it’s clean and looks great. Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦 (could have been happier..😎)
