I've been staying at the Mile Inn for two weeks. I made the mistake of staying at another hotel that was recommended and paid twice the price for terrible accommodations. This motel is clean quiet and Dan and Wendy take pride in tending the motel inside and out. Great gardens, nice patios and clean. This is a working persons/road trippers dream room..... all you need is here. Fridge, microwave, HD TV, and free wifi at a very reasonable price. Conveniently located 5 minutes to Wiarton. Why pay twice the price when you can get all you need for a short or long stay.

We live in the country as it is 5hrs away.. and we travel each summer as usual up to Cape Croker to either the cottage or here. Do all the fun stuff there is to do in the country side.. swim, fish, boating, roaming in the bushes, visiting friends, meeting new friends, grilling and sampling, site seeing and random drives...we stayed here for 4 days with 5 adults.. while doing all there was to do in the wilderness.. we had no issues at all, absolutely not one while staying here.. at the end of the night, you were safe from the bugs, snakes, wolfs, bears and coyotes and whatever else roams around in the country. Both were really nice people. Was pretty good if you ask me, and you dont pay for an arm and a leg... we are already looking to book soon again for 2018 summer..

Great location that did not require a 2-night stay minimum. Met our needs and the owner went above and beyond for us!

This is very scary motel guys,BEWARE! We booked 3 rooms last July 2017 (Take note: It's paid!) when we arrived the old lady, I mean, devil looking old lady, told us there's no vacancy😡,we even called them an hour before arrival to remind that we are on our way. We end up sleeping at Tim Hortons. WORST motel with crazy managing people! A real nightmare!
