This place was great for the price. VERY close to a grocery store AND they include mini fridge as well as a microwave! The bathroom floor was heated nicely (would have been great if there was a switch) It was difficult for out of town people with no car though. No easy access to the downtown core, and the hot tub was out of order :-( A few minor dings on one wall, certainly nothing "gross" in the whole place though. Their pet policy is fair and friendly. I enjoyed our stay.

It is what it is. We didn't go here expecting much so we weren't disappointed. The room was bland. Two lamps didn't work. The fridge did not work. The heated floor in the bathroom was a plus though. The restaurant though was a pleasant surprise. The food was hot, well prepared and delicious. We will bring the kids next time to take advantage of the 2 pools.

The location was great - nice and close to the highway with several handy shops within walking distance. This is the reason I selected this hotel for our family reunion hub. However, location and nearby conveniences don't make up for the fact that the hotel is in sad shape. I lost track of how many times we and most of the rest of our family members had to ask for help with the key card access to our rooms. One of the door handles was hanging loose, and our security latch got stuck when our door closed and bolt cutters had to be used to get us in. The patio doors were also in severe need of maintenance and didn't seem like it would take much effort for someone to get in from outside if they wanted to. The rest of the issues were cosmetic but the room entrances were also a safety issue and that is something more concerning than appearances. The staff were mostly friendly and attentive , especially the maintenance workers and cleaning staff. I'm sure they must be inundated by requests for help with the key cards but every one we approached was friendly and helped us with a smile on their face.

I usually don't complain... But when I pay to sleep at a hotel I expect to actually be able to get some sleep.. the hotel had a fire earlier on in the week in the middle of the night. We all had to evacuate the building clearly for our own safety. But we had to remain outside for 2 hours IN THE RAIN. After seeing the police and fire department there let me tell you it was very hard to fall back to sleep. When I asked if I was being charged for that night's stay the hotel said yes ... clearly I was upset about this and wanted to talk to a manager. I asked 4 times to talk to a manager and I never got a response from one.. finally I was told I would be charged for the night I'll never forget and was informed that the fire in the building they own and manage was not their fault and out of their hand... in my opinion an act of God is something outta ones control. NOT a fire in the business one operates. But anyways I just want people to know that I never before have had any complaints about this hotel... staff are friendly .. BUT clearly the management only cares about the money and not how their guests enjoy their stay. Pretty sad that they charged people like myself for that sorta experience... the worst part was seeing the children outside in that weather and clearly worried about the situation.

It is a wonderful set up and helpful concierge. Needed a taxi every time I was there for my meeting and they didn't mind calling especially since the taxi would get there quicker. Plus the food was nutritious and delicious!! The atmosphere was very inviting. Their room stays we're expensive yet it's a classy place.
