Very nice stay. Pool was very small and water was too deep for my 5 year old son. Staff were friendly and rooms were fairly large compare to other all holiday inns. Will return again.

I travel quite a lot for work and sometimes have trouble finding a place that will allow early check-in. I called the front desk the day before I was scheduled to work overnight with an arrival time in Ottawa around 08:30 hrs. The front desk woman was very polite and professional and was able to provide a note on file with my reservation to allow for the earliest check-in possible also assuring me that it would not be a problem to allow me in early. True to her word when I called 15 minutes before my arrival they had a room ready at 09:00 hrs for me. Room was neat tidy upon arrival. Have stayed here before and will stay here again.

Standard Holiday Inn experience: friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Large pool and fitness room that has enough equipment for most quick workouts. The included breakfast is simple but filling and opens early enough for a quick bite on your way out the door.

I went here for a professional training service that was posted in a meeting room at this hotel. For those visits, my thoughts here focus on that, but the staff was very professional and friendly and kept us stocked with coffee and water. Not a bad place for a fairly small company meeting or training event. I've stayed at this hotel as an overnight guest the past and had similarly positive experiences here, for what that's worth.

The staff did their best to be accomadating and the room was nice, though I think in more a surface sort of way. A closer look at walls, doors, and cupboards lead me to believe that perhaps they hadn't been cleaned for a long time. My largest problem honestly had to do with the breakfast provided and the fact that all utensils and plates are single use items. Styrofoam and plastic. They post signs in the bathrooms about trying to save the planet and then needlessly waste 100s of plates, cups, and utensils every morning? The breakfast is a sit down breakfast all in one room. The guests do not go anywhere, and I'm sure the hotel already has a dishwasher in the kitchen for things like cooking utensils. And even if it doesn't it, it does not excuse the fact that this blatant disregard for the environment could be easily averted. I was very disappointed in this.
