Little Island Lake Guest Suite felt like home the moment we drove in the drive way. The guest suite is cozy yet spacious, comfortable and very clean and organized. We had no trouble finding anything, in fact we overpacked assuming we would need more as we did in the past at other Air B&B's. Hosts are kind, welcoming and very accomodating. We didn't ask for much because it was all there. We were happy to be able to use a washer and dryer right off the main entrance to freshen up our luggage. The sandy beach at Riddell Lake is very inviting! It has 3 tiers of relaxing space. One with camp fire pit and chairs, one with chaise lounge and hammock, and the other right at the beach. The swim platform looked inviting as well although we haven't used it yet. The other dock was nice to fish off of as well as the good collection of canoes and kayaks and paddle boat to use. I got out every morning for a paddle and photo opportunities with the local loons. The lake is like glass most often with a cool mysterious fog on some mornings with the loons calling. Sooo peaceful. Over all, nothing bad to say at all. Remember to check out the local shops and restaurants as you'll be pleasantly surprised at the charm that this hidden gem has to offer. We will definitely keep Little Island Lake Guest Suite on our preferred get-a-way list for future vacation time.
