A beautiful off the grid Lodge on the edge of Algonquin park. We went in February to do snow shoeing and had an absolutely wonderful time. The food was great, there is a out door hot tub as well as a sauna to warm up on cool evenings. Plenty of nearby trails to explore. The rooms are small, but comfy. This was my second year there and I hope to be back again. If you're looking for a weekend of out door fun and relaxation, this would be a great choice to get away and be unplugged and relax!

Great lodge and owner. They go the extra mile to make your visit the best.

This is a very unique accommodation in Algonquin Park in the sense that the accommodation, though basic in shape and form, is far from highways and noise, which considerably increases your opportunity to enjoy peace and quiet, as well as see animals. The other unique aspect is that it is completely off grid (environmentally sound practices are applied) and is run on local water power, generated on the property. The owners grown their own herbs too. The setting is just lovely with semi-private seating areas for you and your unique group all around the grounds with lake-view vistas, great opportunity to see the beavers swim by int he evenings or perhaps hear a wolf, so you can feel like you have your own private adventure. The staff is super helpful, offering suggestions for day trips that match your skill level, and the chef is amazing. All scrumptious meals are included in the price. Strongly recommended for all who enjoy the above at a price much below the more luxurious busy hwy 60 corridor hotel and resorts!
