I stayed at Fenelon Inn room #5 on June 23 2018 and enjoy my stay at this Motel..my room was large with 2 double beds , clean rooms & linen and very quiet. I am sure there are people that would say they need to do some updates in the rooms but for me you this room was fine ..seriously this is cottage country & an older motel.. I read reviews on this motel in January 2018 and they are very reasonably price...if I want an updated motel and pay more for a room just to sleep for a night there are newer motels along with bed & breakfast in the area. I also notice on a recent review that coffee maker was an issue .. maybe the motel owners could supply this item but with a Timmy's coffee shop a few minutes up the road why make you own. All in all everyone is entitled to their own opinions on their stay at any motel/hotel but I have to say if I ever go to Fenelon Falls again I would definitely stay at the Fenelon Inn. You get a great room for a good price and very friendly owners/staff. thank you Sandra Wong

Whoever gave this place 4 stars must have been smoking something! So many problems from a constant dripping tap, a a^c unit that was gasping it's last breath to a tv with a picture but no sound. When asking the owner for some rectification were called "you people". Never again - just a lesson in that you get what you for!

Bit pricey for what you get but nice people

Room #10 (upstairs) had live bedbugs in the folds of the mattress (august 2017). You will see the 'ink marks' that they leave behind. It was the dirtiest room I've ever seen, which is why I even checked. They moved us to rooms 9 which was just as filthy (but no bugs). There must be 2 types of rooms at this motel based on the other reviews. We seem to have been put in #10 as a punishment for checking in so late (11pm). We were told it was the only room available (a lie), then moved to #9 when I found the bedbugs. They are probably still alive since the husband sprayed the mattress with raid (poison to humans, but doesnt kill bedbugs). If you stay here check for 'inkmarks' on the folds of the mattress near the headboard.

Clean room, average price, close to downtown core.
