Was at the hotel for a wedding and reception. The rooms could use some updating and some fresh paint. The event was nicely put together and the staff were phenomenal. Great attention to service and very friendly without being overbearing. The grounds themselves were well kept and had a pretty great view. I could see staying overnight here, as they allow dogs and there is a dog park as part of the waterfront trail.

Make the price $50 less per night and this becomes the perfect place to stay. The bed was comfortable and the shower was warm. Can complain otherwise.

This was by far the worst stay I have had at any hotel. First, they gave the hospitality suite we had booked almost a year in advance to another group. They moved our hospitality suite to the continental breakfast room. No fridge, no sink. Then, the rooms were dirty and HOT. NO A/C and it was majorly stuffy and hot. Other people in our group had problems as well. One room had ceiling tiles missing so that the pipes were exposed! We showed the front desk pictures of the dirty blanket on the bed. Needless to say we’re never going to be back.

The place is dated, out of the way, and noisy. Worse--was told after check-in (when I finally inquired) that there was no air conditioning (It was 25 degrees celsius outside, and warmer inside). In fact, there was no air flow in the room at all. Was told dryly by the person at the front desk to simply open the screen door to the balcony. No explanation or apology. All of the balconies are connected - separated only by thin slats of wood. No privacy. No noise barrier. Will not go back there!

This Travelodge is old. It needs a total renovation outside and inside. The rooms had carpet and wallpaper from the 80's. The beds were new, upgraded the indoor pool with a small water slide. They do have a morning simple buffet breakfast which is included in your stay, but barely worthwhile. They have only one elevator for this large hotel and it is slow as molasses. The only thing inticing to stay here again is the pricing.
