We at a pleasant stay at this Best Western in downtown Sudbury. The staff was all very nice and helpful. It was a great location to be close to everything downtown, but the neighbourhood felt a little rough. The hotel wasn't dated, but not the most modern feel either. The parking lot across the street was quite small and the lobby entrance was odd. When you would pull in with your vehicle to load / unload there was no easy way to get back to the street. If you went forward you came to a very tight courtyard to try and turn around in, or you could try and backup into traffic.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The provided breakfast was definitely on the better end of hotel breakfast with hot eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, juices, tea, and coffee. The room was large with big windows and lots of seating. The attached Indian restaurant for dinner was very good and we were very surprised/impressed with the authenticity and quality of the food. I would highly recommend eating here at least one night.
The only issues we had were with our key card not working at first, the odd lobby entrance, and my wife did not enjoy the tub for baths. We would stay here again as the price is reasonable and we are close to many amenities.
