Stayed one night in Sudbury, parking is across the street but not far from the hotel. Air conditioner in room wasn't working but Christine went above and beyond to try to assist with it and gave us her personal fan to make our stay more comfortable since there were no open rooms to move to. Vina at check out was wonderful and compensated us for the issues we had. Would recommend staying here. Breakfast was really good, hot food and eggs were excellent. Shower is really nice, good pressure and room was super clean. Beds were very comfortable (pillow top I believe) and the staff were friendly.

Almost 2 stars... but a bunch of stuff wrong with this signature downtown hotel. Lady when we checked in at 10 pm was nice - helped me with parking spot for my larger truck. Got back to room and AC unit is off - works but not great. Bathroom dated. Had to chill out beer in sink with ice in bathroom sink as advertised fridge doesn’t cool them. Shower head is old and not working well. To boot the vending machine doesn’t accept CC OR DEBIT... only coins. I went downstairs to see if they had snacks - only vending machines for cash. Who has cash? Just generally unimpressed when I could have saved $50 on my room for a bed just as nice. Needs some serious updates. Wish the front desk would have given me a toonie for a bag of chips :(

Located in downtown Sudbury. Close to the shopping mall. Rooms are clean. A little dated. Continental breakfast was good.

It's old and its downtown. Good staff and the room was okay. I was on a road trip and drove to Sudbury. Had no idea of the town or amenities. It's not so much the hotel that will keep me away. The question is why would anybody go to Sudbury?

We at a pleasant stay at this Best Western in downtown Sudbury. The staff was all very nice and helpful. It was a great location to be close to everything downtown, but the neighbourhood felt a little rough. The hotel wasn't dated, but not the most modern feel either. The parking lot across the street was quite small and the lobby entrance was odd. When you would pull in with your vehicle to load / unload there was no easy way to get back to the street. If you went forward you came to a very tight courtyard to try and turn around in, or you could try and backup into traffic. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The provided breakfast was definitely on the better end of hotel breakfast with hot eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, juices, tea, and coffee. The room was large with big windows and lots of seating. The attached Indian restaurant for dinner was very good and we were very surprised/impressed with the authenticity and quality of the food. I would highly recommend eating here at least one night. The only issues we had were with our key card not working at first, the odd lobby entrance, and my wife did not enjoy the tub for baths. We would stay here again as the price is reasonable and we are close to many amenities.
