We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The price was very reasonable when compared to the cost of a room in other hotels in this area. The reception clerk was friendly and welcoming. We were assigned a room at the back of the hotel on the first floor. It was nice to be able to access our car through a backdoor. It was a very clean room and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and had good quality pillows. We slept like logs since it was very quiet. It was also convenient to have a continental breakfast include in the price. The only thing you have to watch out for is the fluctuating water temperature in the shower.

Was like stepping into yesteryear with the decor that would have made it one of the best of its day. The staff was wonderful and the rooms clean and well supplied.

$70 room for $140 for sure. We checked in and thought this would be a nice place to spend the night, by the looks of the lobby and the price we were told the room would be (a total of $158 more or less after taxes).. And, it's not bad if you bring your own noise machine for the thin walls and if you're willing to make the bed yourself so that the fitted sheet is on.. and if you don't look up at the holes in the outdated cheap tile ceilings that you'd expect to find in like a hockey rink or an old hall. And avert your eyes from the rusty hinges on the bathroom door, or the toothpaste smudge left on the counter. I expressed my disappointment to the front desk upon check out and was told a manager would contact me. No such thing ever happened. This is definitely over priced. I would stay here again if the room costed me $75. Seriously. The bed was fine.

Amazing stay each time I visit. Great to stay at a place that knows me by my first name. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great staff and that amazing food in the restaurant! Never disappointed and will keep returning recommending to all!

The Ambassador is kind of like your favorite movie starlet from the 80s who has had a lot of work to maintain her facade. She still looks good, if you don't look too closely. That being said, the staff is excellent, my room was clean and the bed was comfortable[that is something coming from me-a real princess-and-the-pea type]. Not a lot within a convenient walking distance, so plan on cabs or renting a car if you want to see any sights or explore culinary delights beyond the mediocre on-site restaurant or the pub across the highway, which is decent.
