The hotel seems a bit run down in the outside but inside the restaurant is nice. There's about 10 tables of 4 and it looks like there's a nice private room on the side. We came at lunch but they offer an all day breakfast and are known for their breakfast offerings. I got the breakfast special, the farmers breakfast. They had it set up all chopped up like a hash. I didn't like it. The flavours were off. They used a sausage that quite frankly was cheap and terrible tasting. It ruined the dish. My dining companion got the cheese omlette and they liked it. It looked interesting The coffee was really strong. Would I go back? Maybe. I may stay away from the breakfast menu. This looks like a place that would have a terrific burger and fries!

Styed here recently. Room was large and clean. The bathroom was a disaster. Porcelain was peeling from inside of tub. Pedestal sink wobbled all over the place. It needed to be secured to wall and base. Hot was took 10 minutes to get to the room. Toilet only had one bolt holding it to the toilet. If you hold down the handle it may or may not take toilet paper down.

Dinner was good. Fish and chips batter was a little thicker than I like it but that's just personal preference. Desert was worth the price. Service was fast, friendly and efficient

The food was pretty good. New operator of restaurant part. It was Moniques but is now Rusties. Once they get more organized, service will be better. Burger was homemade and thick.

Despite calling ahead, the heat in my room was set to 10 degrees. Took so long to warm up that I went to bed in a sweater and big socks. There was no deadbolt or chain on the door, and the doors were indoor doors. Instead there was a message to stick something in the knob so that no one could put a key in. But, I would have had to hold it there the whole time... Didn't make me feel secure, Also anyone from the hotel could have walked in at any time. Room was outdated but clean. The shower head was at about 5'6".
