The Hampton here. Is not that great and I've stayed at Hamptons all over the world. This has no refrigerator no microwaves. The TVs in the rooms are small and cheap. I'm working nights usually they would still find someone to clean are rooms at least twice a week. The walls thin. I've asked the front desk to please talk to the maids about being loud and I mean loud. They said no problem they would take care of it. Maids still yelling down the hall ways. We've all got are do not disturb signs on the doors. What needs to happen is someone needs to build another hotel so this one can raise there standards. In the states they wouldn't be allowed to carry a Hampton sign. So if you're coming up for a night and just need a place to sleep and don't care about the fridge microwave it will probably be okay. I'm not impressed at all

It's a real nice hotel, but... as the only real hotel in Elliot Lake a few things seemed a bit out of place for such a major chain... 1- AC is locked out below a certain temperature (20), and there was a heat wave with high humidity... 20 sounds low, but not low enough during such heat... and it was indeed reaching 20 and shutting down. Couldn't sleep at night. 18 was where I was hoping. They had to come in and Override, but made a comment that I wasn't VIP... apparently my money is only good for partial comfort? 2- I believe the elevator is run by a hamster. It takes forever to close, move, open... There's only 3 floors, and it's a journey. 3- Pool was closed?!!! I think they closed it intentionally due to high visitations the long weekend, but we brought kids... not cool. That's one of the reasons we booked the hotel instead of staying at the inlaws. 4- Breakfast was quite nice, but the cut fruit had a skunky smwll each day and tasted like it went bad. Good: View, location, staff, rooms, cleanliness.

Excellent service with superb hospitality. Great courtesy with a smile. Top quality rooms and the very best complementary hot breakfast. Hilton quality rooms for a reasonable price.

Only stayed one night, but front desk staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Room was very clean and overall had a good stay.

I was expecting a fridge in the room. And the pool was out of service. Still paid full price to stay there
