We received excellent service and were treated like royalty! Maria did a superb job at insuring we were comfortable and well taken care of. The bathroom was huge. The bedroom was very accommodating. The bed was so comfortable we did not want to get out of bed. The breakfast spread was always well stocked and had a big variety of food. The woman that was stocking the food was friendly and helpful. This has been the best hotel we have stayed at. We would definitely stay here again! The stay was worth the price.

Staid in the kind suit. Bed was comfortable. Room was very clean and modern. Staff here are pleasant. Breakfast was decent. The pool was clean and the big water slide was a nice touch. Great place to stay. And about 20 mins from Vaughn mills.

From the moment I walked in there were problems. The front desk clerk, I don't know her name, was horribly rude and combatant. My friend also booked a room and we both asked for early check-ins at 1pm. We actually didn't arrive until 3pm and our rooms were not ready. My friend was downgraded from the room she booked to a lesser room. When it was my turn The clerk was in such a horrible mood she began berating me in front of everyone within earshot. I got a deal on my room and she was upset that I did. When i tried to explain she cut me off and rudely spoke down to me. When My friend stepped in she was told to mind her own business and yelled at. This went on for a bit. I can't adequately describe how bad this was. When We got up to our rooms, mine was fine, but my friends room had human feces on her bed sheet. The hotel neglected to change her sheets. maybe they rushed because they weren't finished when we arrived, I don't know, but it was possibly the most disgusting thing we have ever experienced in a hotel. My friend went down and complained. They upgraded her to the original room she booked THAT THEY SAID WAS NOT AVAILABLE TO BEGIN WITH and gave her a discount of only $40. Better than nothing I guess. There were a few other smaller issues. My room came with a sofa bed. It had no blanket and when we called down for one they told us they ran out. Instead, my son had to sleep with an extra mattress pad. I would NOT recommend this hotel even if it was free. I am truly disappointed in almost every aspect of this establishment.

There are a couple of things that knocked the Super 8 by Wyndham down to three stars. I'll talk about the positives first. The room was fantastic. The location was great. The hotel was just a couple minute drive to the subway station for an easy option to get to downtown Toronto. There were many restaurants options within walking distance. The pool was great too. The first of the two negatives. They have a water slide at the hotel, which was a lot of fun, but they only opened it when the "lifeguards" were on duty. The two young gentlemen who acted as "lifeguards" were not dressed to save anybody's life. They also never looked up from their phones. The four or five adults in the pool the evening the slide was not open tried to talk the front desk into opening it, but they said we should call the manager or owner, and they gave us his or her number. The number was to the front desk. The last negative. When we were checking out they printed out our receipt, but on the back of it was everybody's room information for 318-401. I knew how many people were in each room and who it was. Not safe at all.

The hotel was exceptional for a Super 8. It was nice room plus very clean and beds were comfy. Only downside was the breakfast was a bit lacking, but I would stay there again.
