For two nights at $500+ for the 2 queen beds, which is equivalent to staying at some of the local resorts, this place is WAY overpriced. The breakfast is redundant, and the ice machine is behind the counter and have to ask to have your room ice bucket filled back at the reception desk. Oh, the gas station about to be built in the backyard looks to "improve" the ambiance of the pool area.

Absolute horrible place....arrived to our room with toilet backed up. Continental breakfast is pathetic...soggy stale bagels & warm milk...wouldn't feed my dog ! Rooms r a mess, very outdated. Called front desk TWICE because we had no cable...no one came at all. They didn't allow a late checkout whatsoever - not even a half hour ! Absolutely absurd...never had a problem anywhere else with a late checkout. And if u need ice...forget it ! Only 1 machine, in the lobby and ur not allowed to get ice urself ! Its ice for f*** sakes ! And they also don't fill coolers either ! The ONLY positive aspect of this whole pathetic stay is the pool....except it closes at 8pm...NO EXCEPTIONS EITHER ! They also cut down all the trees behind...only to have a gas station being built ! So 2 nights $472....talk about a royal rip off ! WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN !!! IF I COULD SELECT NO STARS I WOULD...HENCE THE 1 STAR....

Rooms were clean. Friendly staff. Air conditioning not working very well and it was a very hot weekend. Also their internet was not working and no cable TV. We weren't in the room much so that was a good thing.

Easy to get to. Good view. Very friendly staff

Staff is nice. I liked the location as I could go for a midnight stroll with the Mrs. over to Tim Horton's. They have this going for them. Also they were friendly and nice. This hotel is very representative of a nice cottage that is so characteristic of the region, so it's worth your money to stay here if... like me... you don't own a cottage. All the city amenities right by... the only thing you need is a river with hungry fish who are ready to bite.
