We really enjoyed our stay at SpringHill Suites. The hotel is very clean, parking is free, and the room rate we paid was quite reasonable. The pool on the main floor is a little chilly and rather small, but the kids really enjoyed it. The hot tub was a great temperature though! A breakfast buffet is included. I wouldn't say it was great, but it was definitely decent. Better than what I expected for the room price, and a nice touch overall. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Case in point: my son forgot his favourite stuffed toy in the room when we left. A phone call to Housekeeping/Lost & Found on the drive home was enough to confirm that they'd found it, and they arranged to have it mailed to us. I would definitely return here if I stayed in Vaughan again.

Beautiful hotel! Large modern rooms with an amazing desk layout. Great WiFi throughout my entire stay. Super convenient outlets everywhere. Two sinks which can be very useful for larger families. Microwave+fridge is always very good to have. Felt like home to be honest. Will definitely be coming back soon! :)

We went to bed late the night we checked in. As our kids had already gone to bed, the lights were off. Upon awakening the next morning, my husband found blood on the sheets. We both checked to make sure it hadn't come from us. Neither of us had any scratches, cuts, open wounds, pimples (that manager suggested such) that could be the source of the blood. More to the point, it was dry. We spoke with the manager who had the hotel staff started an investigation. At that point, I was fairly satisfied. Fast forward to the next day, I speak with the manager again and I'm told the fault wasn't on their end. I asked, "So are you saying it's *my* fault?" He was very careful not to say that, but kept reiterating that the hotel staff wasn't to blame. I very bluntly told him that if he insisted his staff wasn't responsible, then he was pretty much saying I was. It was, to be honest, flat-out insulting. They offered 25% of the total bill but after the discomfort we faced upon learning we'd slept on a bed with blood from a previous customer, then having the issue compounded by the manager who left me with no choice but to assume that he believed we were either lying or too stupid to know if we had any open wounds on us, 25% was far from adequate. I did not expect the entire trip to be comped, but I wanted far more than 25% and his insulting suggestions. I've reached out to Marriott's corporate customer service via the website and hope to hear something a bit more customer-friendly. Just be wary if you choose to stay here. Check your bed BEFORE going to sleep and make sure you take photos.

Disclaimer: I am a loyal Marriott customer. This was a decent hotel. Our first room had a broken radiator and we were switched. It took a bit too long to get our new room. Went swimming in the pool. The pool area is very clean. The water was very warm. There is a hot tub as well. One problem: the rooms have no bathtubs so it is impossible to bathe kids. Otherwise it’s good.

Held a seminar in one of their conference rooms. Highly recommended! I did not stay in the hotel, but I held a seminar in one of their rooms. The room was well equipped, and staff was very courteous and made sure our needs were met for the 2 days we were there. Easy to get a hold of staff via their built-in phone system, so that was helpful.
