Beautiful place in a quaint little town. This place has an indoor pool and a great gym. Also a cedar sauna. The rooms are clean and decor suits a small Ontario town and it's antiquities. It's backs right onto Lake Bernard (Biggest lake in the world without an island.) A sweet shady area in the back by a nice deck to get out of the hot sun. Service was friendly and prompt. Highly Recommended.

For being in the middle of nowhere, it's pretty nice. It's like a motel (has the stereotypical floral bedspreads) but to me that doesn't really matter. It was both clean and warm (I ripped apart the bed to make sure it wasnt dirty) and the bathrooms were clean as well. it deserves 5 stars just for that fact alone. Plus, they had a nice sauna and pool! The little restaurant that's in the hotel building was great too! The staff was very kind and accommodating.

Some rooms are nice some not so much. Issues such as wires exposed in rm 33 and funky heaters in the waterfront cabins take away from the place, while the efforts of the staff certainly raise the score. Chris is awesome. Did not care for the food. Very packaged tasting and some items picked up tastes from other foods it seemed. Still the place is clean and convenient.

The staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable. We always stay in the cabins and they are quaint and fairly comfortable. Yes, some of the upholstery and bedding may be dated, but it works because this place is an older establishment. The views are breathtaking all year round. And the restaurant is personal and the food is delicious. I will be returning again and again.
