This motel is cute and clean! Great effort has gone into renovating it and quite frankly it is cleaner than some of the big brands! It is quiet and has a spectacular lake view. It is dog friendly and there is lots of space for a dog to run. There is a lovely playground for kids and a boat launch. You can walk into Tweed for necessities (there is a microwave and fridge in the room) or to sight-see. The bed was comfortable and there is a small table for two to dine or to work at. There is a gas station with a Mac's Convenience and Subway Restaurant across the street. We prefer this over a hotel in Belleville!

Large room. The one we had was like an apartment which was perfect. The view you wake up to is also amazing. Bathrooms are very clean, kitchen was clean and ready for use. It's veey nice. I definitely would recommend and stay again

I would recommend this place. It's very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Great view from sitting at the table by the window overlooking the town park which includes a great play area for kids and then the lake. Their website I don't think mentioned there is also a coffee machine and hair dryer. For eating Subway across the road and about a 4 minute walk to grocery store /Beer store and also a little further for restaurants and a fabulous Coffee shop I would recommend also.

Awesome - accommodating host hosed us down after a very dirty mountain bike ride on the rail trails. Clean room; very comfortable bed; well maintained - new TV, microwave, fridge, and bed - loved the retro green tub 🤗

I called this hotel to book a room for my daughter and I for the rodeo that is being held in Tweed. This place of business is horrible ... I unfortunately do not have a credit card, my mother will also be traveling with me and she does have one. He immediately was rude and kept talking over me, he raised the price higher when I said I was going to a one night stay from 2 nights. I told him my mom would call back and book the room because I couldn’t .. he then Proceeded to laugh at me and told me he only had 4 rooms left.. he said call back tomorrow as he is busy... I said would you hold that room then.. he said no.. I said ok my mom will call and book today because I don’t want to take the chance of not getting a room ... he said “oh well”.. I told him that the way he was acting was very immature and asked to speak to a manager .. he laughed and said iam the manager and said find somewhere else to stay and hung up on me???
