Good place, clean. Recently renovated. Small and plain but comfortable space with a desk, newly redone bath. The exercise room has a treadmill, and a elliptical (not sure how the latter works) There is a free breakfast, not fancy but has a selection of cereal and continental fare as well as a waffle maker. It is the only meal available on site as there is no restaurant. Generally does have the lowest prices on rooms in Toronto, especially for such a central location. Just a short jaunt about 12 min walk, to pubs and restaurants on Young or Church. Staff are polite, and helpful.

The rooms were clean and comfy but the elevator is INCREDIBLY slow ( takes 5 minutes to go up 4 floors). But the worst part is you have to walk 10 minutes to get to the parking which is a block and a half away.

great hotel with great value. The rooms have everything you need, the beds are comfy and I have never had a problem controlling the heat (very simple wall dial control for the heat, not sure why everyone else seems to have problems with this?) I have never had the breakfast but it is nice to know it is there if I want it. Best if you don't have a car as there is no on site parking and parking in this area overnight is a bit risky (not a dangerous area but window-smashing is common)
