Check-in was smooth and friendly. A good value for a room. Only complaint is there was no plug for the bathtub, and staff couldn't find one. Will stay again though!

never judge a book by its cover is a fitting statement for my experience staying here at pembroke inn. The staff was extremely friendly always smiled, helpful, informative and very pleasant . The room and bathroom were very cleaned and housekeeping service was excellent. the breakfast was awesome, overall i would say that they succeeded in giving me a "wow" experience and i would not only stay here again but recommend them as well.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here for two nights. The staff was lovely... greeted us warmly on our arrival - the two brothers who run the reception were really welcoming. The room was clean and the cleaning staff really pleasant. The breakfast was simple but really good - bagels, yogurt, coffee, orange juice. The neighborhood is great and close to Parliament. I highly recommend this hotel.

Gosh.. what a mistake. I was trying to save some money. Chose this "3 stars" hotel and regretted every second of my stay. As one walks in there is an eternal (it never stops) odor. A combination of humidity with poor cleaning. First 2 days there was no heater in my room. I slept with my winter coat on. Door is so out of frame anyone can take a look inside the room from outside ( see the pictures). The breakfast was nothing but an English muffin with a see through slice of ham and some butter. The coffee was horrible and so cheap it was like dark warm water. Location was excellent. Attendant was nice and polite. He checked in the heater and by the 3rd day he put it to work. Towels were new and fluffy. I asked if i could check out at 12 rather than 11. They told me i could stay till 11.30. The average night came to be around 60 dollars. That is half of the Marriott or the Chelsea just few blocks away. So if you dont mind the few details i mentioned you can save a lot of money here. I personally will never set foot here again. I will spend the extra cash for a better hotel. It is not a 3 stars. It is like 0 to 1 star. The Allen Gardens are right in front on the property for those plants lovers.
