It’s an ok place to lay your head for the night, but it could use some maintenance and perhaps a full remodeling. The shower head in my room was moldy, the walls had brackets where I presume art once adorned the room, and the room smelled like it was abandoned for weeks. The carpet and entry area of my room reminds me of The Shining. Not something a hotel wants to emulate. On a more positive note: the room was among the quietest I’ve slept on. Perhaps it was the great insulated walls. I presume the hotel was booked solid since the parking lot was almost maxed out close to midnight on a Friday. The receptionists were nice enough and respectful. Overall, it was an “okay” experience for a budget hotel to sleep for the night and nothing more.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The area itself doesn't offer much. The complementary breakfast was underwhelming and dry. It's a simple, no frills hotel. Great for a short stay

Nice rooms, but walls are paper thin. You can hear your neighbors pretty clearly. Don't expect much from "hot" breakfast. Good value for your money

I absolutely did not like this hotel. I've stayed in way better Days Inn Hotels for a BETTER PRICE. This hotel room was not worth the money I paid for. I stayed at a better Days Inn ON NEW YEARS EVE (booked last minute even i kid you not) and got a WAY BETTER price. and a better cleaner and nicer well put together hotel room than the one i got at this one. Once I got to the hotel to check in the room was already paid for and I had to sign this paper for security deposit and when my roommate signed too, I accidentlly signed on the wrong line and started to give me this huge fit and annoyance that i signesigned wrong. I asked can u just put an arrow or reprint so its correct. Hes like no! No way! Put me off completely. We got up to the hotel room and oh my goodness it was terrible. It looks gross and old and dirty. Not what expected. I expected the same hotel maintenance and look I got from the other Days Inn hotel But nope. this one IS TERRIBLE! there was like tape all over the washroom mirror and counter corners the ceiling was falling a part. this vent thing under the sink was open and there was bugs in the hotel room. I didnt complain at the time because we were too busy going places for only 3 days in Toronto. First time there in fact. We would leave at 7AM and get back by 11PM. Location sucks because theres no good food places to stop by and get a snack or dinner. Have to go super far to just get something to eat. Not worth it because like I said we were out ALL day. Isolated from the main city area to go site seeing. The hotel room itself looked old. The pictures online is not what I experienced in person. I complained and tried contacting them after my trip and said they would contact me back within a week. It been over a month now... Bad service. If you want to go to a Days Inn. DON'T go to this one. Its a good place to just get a nights sleep but the room we got and experience from the resceprecept was terrible. and also on their website the address reads its located in Toronto. and the name of the hotel is called Toronto East Lakeview. Its not in Toronto.. It's actually located in Scarborough. And I google how far it is to walk to downtown. It told me 10 mins. but actually its like a 30 minute drive. I confirm you not. It is not walking distance. Had to rent a car after I figured out how far this hotel was from the airport. I am so upset about this because it was my first time in Toronto and the address I googled was very misleading. It was in a weird sketchy area too. essentially I got screwed over from a great first time experience because of this hotel. the hotel just dredded me going back there to just sleep.First time trip u wud need to get a nice hotel room. which i thought i got but i was wrong. very disappointed.

Horrible and unhelpful customer service at the front desk. Located in a sketchy area, also is a very dirty and smelly place. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
