Was there for a training - lovely property they have. Saw a lot of fun activities which I would have definitely tried if not for the training. Even had a party on and the music was loud and thumping. The staff seemed really friendly and helpful. They have great food available - we sure had a lot.The no of items were not countless but more than sufficient. And it's just off the 401 - for those who drive.

I visited the Holiday Inn for a business conference. On arrival, I was told I couldn't bring in a coffee I had purchased earlier as no food from external businesses were permitted. I had to finish it outside. Had it not been for that, they would get 5 stars. Their lunch buffet was really tasty and the service from the dining team on point. Overall, I would urge businesses to think long term vs short term. Had it been a flawless experience, maybe it would make me keep Holiday Inn top of mind when I travel... Customers have choices and those small things do matter.

TVs are only 27". Rooms lack Ethernet port. Staff are great. Warning signs everywhere that the elevators suck and one should consider taking the stairs. Apparently they're going to replace them, but at $300 a night plus parking you'd think they'd have done so before it got to that point. Beds and pillows are good. Cable selection is solid. Rooms are updated, bathrooms aren't and are cramped.

The bathrooms are so out of date and the plumbing it takes 20 mins for a tub to drain. Very annoying when you have three kids to bathe. The air conditioning does not cool off the room and you cant change the temperature to make it cooler. On top of that that it sounds like a small plane taking off followed by a tea kettle whistle noise. Trying to sleep on rock hard beds on top of all that noise is pointless. When checking out we were billed an extra $200 for hidden fees they hold that are not mentioned anywhere. Now we have to wait 5 to 6 days to get that back. Not worth the amount they charge. Overpriced and out of date. Not going back.

Very luxurious hotel for the price. Right across from Yorkdale Mall and the Subway, which makes this a great place to stay if you are commuting downtown. Lots of activities in the social area (pool, tennis etc) Definitely a great place to stay, and I won't hesitate to stay again.
