Had a great experience! The couple was very sweet who own the place and helped us out with everything we needed. Great outdoor pool on site and fairly quiet at night. Simple rooms which were great, all the basics that you need. We will be staying here again in the near future I’m sure!!

Hospitality of a B&B with the privacy of a hotel! We decided last minute (6am morning of) to head up to Sauble for a weekend escape, and called Lakeview on our way up. To our surprise and luck they had a last minute early departure and were able to fit us in. When we arrived to our room we were pleasantly surprised to see a full sized fridge with a table and chairs in our solarium, and 2 queen beds!!! We decided to stay around the motel for the day as it was a bit chilly with over cast. Both Randy and Susan were seen throughout the day tending to guest needs and stopped by to chat and make sure we were happy and had everything we needed or wanted! They even provided us with comfy Muskoka chairs so we could sit outside and relax, and offered the use of their BBQ's if needed for dinner. Will definitely return, as we have never experienced such great hospitality as we have here, even when we stayed at 5 star hotels!! Definitely recommend staying here when you come to visit Sauble or any of the near by towns!!

What a terrible experience! We walked into the room and it had a pungent smell....we looked up and the ceiling was cracked and peeling and falling onto the bed! The wall paneling was curling off the walls and the flooring in the bathroom was peeling away as well! The experience was topped off when we opened the bathroom faucet and ants came out! We couldnt even spend the night and checked out to move on to another nearby hotel. The owner didn't even offer an apology and thought the place was great! Stay away from this ant infested, crumbling pile of dirt.

Great location relative to Sauble Beach, and great amenities too. Pool, kids play ground, horse shoes. Rooms were very clean too.
