The beds were not cleaned, I asked for both beds to be remade and cleaned, the lady said she would change the bedding, so when I came back it wasn’t cleaned or changed. She just made the bed. I use a black light when I stay at hotels just to make sure everything is clean, but this was disgusting, I’m shocked there isn’t bed bugs. I highly recommend you don’t come to this hotel unless you want to get bed bugs. Better off to stay in Ottawa and drive 40 minuets. Hopefully the person that reviews these comments for the hotel can actually do something about this instead of saying “I’ll look into it”. Shocked health Canada hasn’t closed down this dump.

My husband stayed there during a road trip. Want say thanks to Riley for making his stay a pleasant one. Clean room, ac worked great in this heat, much appreciated. Good breakfast. Thx again to all the staff.

The food in the restaurant is fantastic. It's a small simple bar menu but it has never been disappointing and a great amount of food. The first time going there it was gross and disappointing in the hotel it's self. However after that the whole hotel did a turn around. New upgrade furniture, smells clean, looks clean, great house keeping and front desk is always quick and excellent. Originally after the first stay it would have been a 1 or 2 star. Now I give it a 4 only because hallways just need an upgrade in style.

Room was good for the price. Simple but essential accommodations in a small room. Adjacent restaurant had good food but seemed short staffed on a Friday morning. My room was by the elevator and ice machine so noise was an issue in the middle of the night. Window was facing the roof below so view was not pleasant.

The rooms are clean, the staff friendly, and is located close to some useful stores such as Canadian Tire and Walmart. The only hiccup was that they had us down for one less night than booked but that was quickly rectified.
