Worst place to stay in collingwood/blue mountain I'll try to post pica of the bed bug I found in room 4. The owner will say "I don't think they are bed bugs, if I can get the pictures up I'll let you decide

I was in Collingwood for an EMR course and this place was the only place that had a vacancy during the time. When I arrived to my room, I found it to be dirty but the linens looked cleaned enough. The pictures are not what it looked to be as advertised. I discovered 4 bed bugs on the sofa during the first night and it really alarmed me due to how fast they can spread. I had to bag all of my stuff, disinfect all my clothes with insecticide, wash them, and then run them in the dryer back home for at least a half and hour or more. It really created an inconvenience for me and that is why my review for this place is what it is. I will say this, the owner seemed nice enough but be sure you ask for a clean room and inquire about bed bugs before you stay here. I also have found hostels cleaner than this lodge and you also constantly hear people slamming their doors due to the doors not locking properly and rude people complaining. I spent $162.58 CAD a night at this place and it wasn't worth it at all. The best experience for me was checking out and I was very disappointed to say the least. Pros - Nice owner, decent location near Blue Mountain and Collingwood. Cons - Dirty room, bed bugs in my room, rude people, insecure locks and doors.
