Accommodation was in the basement room. Room was fine other than being very cool. We asked for the air conditioning to be turned off which it was but, it kept coming back on. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very good. Would have liked a main floor room. TV remotes needed new batteries.

Honestly not the best experience I have had. There were no welcome materials in the room like eat here, do this and go there, breakfast is at this time etc. The breakfast was nice and they have a nice garden but that is about it. Our bed was in the lower level and even though we had a lot of space to ourselves it was just too dark. The location I cannot fault. Short drive to all major attractions in the area.

AWFUL When my husband & I arrived, the B&B was empty. A plaque by the entry provided a phone number, but there was no other indication given in the booking process that check-in would be over the phone. Another couple arriving with us were equally perplexed. My husband was so fed up with the staff member on the telephone (this company has 5 properties), that he cut the call short. This staff member sent a snotty text that she assumed we would not want breakfast because the check-in had not been completed. The snotty tone continued with an additional series of texts complaining to us about how we had offended her. clearly not service-oriented. Contrary one of her snotty remarks, my husband & I have some experience with B&Bs--not just in Ontario but in other places in Canada and in other countries. This is the WORST place we've ever stayed in for quality of the accommodation and the poor service. The king bedroom is no large enough to accommodate the bed, so it's jammed up against the wall. The person sleeping on the inside half needs to crawl up the bed and has no night lamp. The mattress needed to be replaced a long time ago. The shared bathroom, also not made clear, has no flat surface, for example, on which to place a contact lens case or denture case or any other item that one might use in one's daily bathroom routine. The only soap & shampoo offered was communal, and perhaps left there by previous guests. We can't speak to the breakfast, as we were up before 6:00 am, with no indication of how to make any coffee or at what time someone other than a guest would arrive. We packed up, without using the clean but otherwise dreadful bathroom, and went in search of coffee.

We got the basement - really convince because you have access to the entertainment room. Oksana is a really good host, she takes care of all small details, breakfast was delicious. My 4 stars are because of the mattress of the bed, you can feel like sinking into the middle of the bed, needs urgent replacement.
