I thought they over charged me by more than double of what I should of paid. Called them and the charge I seen was pending they put a $250 deposit on the room. The rooms are nice, the hotel is under renovation but the room was quiet.

Terrible, noisy and stinky . I booked it from my IHG Rewards Club app on May 11, 2019. We got lost going there, the building is under renovation, NO signs or warnings until we got there. I noticed lots of young people in the front of the hotel as you can see in the photos playing ball, cursing and smoking weed, it stunk! I wish I could load videos, I recorded everything. The hallways had duck-tape between the carpets, the construction zone was not sealed and danger since the hotel had lots of kids running around in the hallways playing ball and screaming as you can see in the photo. Some rooms had their doors open and you can hear couples fighting and screaming while kids were roaming the hallways playing. I called front desk and told her, that I made it clear that we need a quiet floor, they moved us to 4th floor, we go up and just as soon as we exited the elevators, lo and behold kids were running around and playing ball while the parents looked on! I called her and said are you kidding? ... The staff are unprofessional and eager to speak rather than listen. This place is a dump, truly I thought we were placed in a hotel full of refugees. We will NEVER come back, I would not pay $10 bucks a night for it. Awful experience, we asked for a refund before we stayed that night and left, it was that bad. Take low rating stars very seriously people, I failed to observe and read the reviews, I trusted IHG Rewards club and they will get my piece of mind!!

This is a new addition to IHG. They're going through extensive renovations. I'm sure it will be great when all the work is completed. The experience was okay. As a Spire member I did not actually receive much of an upgrade in the room. My friend is a brand new IHG member and stayed there as well (referred by me), and ironically his room as a basic member seems nicer than mine without an upgrade. The services were friendly. Breakfast was decent with some convenient to-go selections. The reception area and the rooms were clean and well maintained. There were a couple small yellow stains on my bedsheet. The hallways and elevators were a bit messy because of the ongoing significant renovations. I'm not familiar with Toronto but the area seems okay and relatively convenient. Again, I think once all the work is done it will be a great hotel option, but this experience was a bit disappointing.
