This hotel is receiving 5 stars based on the customer service experience provided by the owner as well as the location. The location was great, we had a great view ! We got to see fireworks from our room! As well as the view of the city! The hotel itself deserves a little bit of love, but so does anywhere you go! I could not believe how above and beyond the owner was willing to go in making us happy! I was thoroughly impressed and we will return whenever we come to Niagara

It was a cost effective Hotel. That was reflected in the room. Did have to call the police as one of the other guests beat his girlfriend up for dancing with another guy at the bar they went to though. It was an interesting night.

This hotel was... not horrible. And that's the best thing I can say. The location was great! Not too far from the attractions but not too close to the noise. About a 10 minute walk to the Falls (give or take). However... it felt very dirty. There were strange stains on our sheets, our room lights were a bit finicky... long story short.. what you pay for is what you get. I wasn't expecting splendour, but I certainly wasn't prepared for what I received at the Victoria Motor Inn (VMI) either. I absolutely would have paid extra to get a room at another hotel during my first night at the VMI... by the second night I was kind of accustomed to the.. grime. But it is not the type of hotel where you would feel comfortable relaxing in. ALSO, the mattress was awful (90% sure the springs are broken) and I was scared to put my head on a pillow as it felt lumpy and looked... well.. like not something I wanted to put my head on. Finally, the walls are paper thin. We had neighbour's chatting up a storm at 3am... and we could.. unfortunately.. hear every word. Basically: if you're looking for something cheap and you don't care about cleanliness, this hotel is fine. But if you're a bit of a germaphobe... I wouldn't recommend this place. At all.

For the price you pay I think it’s a great deal. Not up to date but cozy if you don’t mind motels. Would come back again!

Ill give it a 5 on 5 cause I am a simple person and not one of those snowflakes that looks for the cheapest prices and expect Red Carpet treatment. I mean, I got the room only to have a place to sleep, chill and wash up. So with that said. - Rooms were clean - Room service I had no complaints about. - 2 Beds for myself and 2 kids. - Wifi was not a problem - Air conditioning was pretty good. - OMG the pressure from the shower I thought I was going to be blasted right out of the bathtub it was immense hahaha. BTW, that's actually a good thing. Took about 10 seconds to rinse my hair (I have long hair too) - Justin and the other people were pretty cool and down to earth. - Location was great literally a few minutes from Clifton Hill. - I really can't find anything bad to say about this place. Bonus When I got there, I found out my room was on the third floor. I was like aww (in a funny way) and Justin did a couple of mouse clicks and smiled at me and said, "There, ground level". Totally awesome. Of course I tell me kids we have to lugs the bags up 3 flights of stairs, cause you know, dads... :-) I booked them through Expedia and checked out amenities before I booked so for me, this place was my choice for the stay.
