Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby was stunning and the room was very clean, modern, and the folding of the duvet at the corners blew my mind! I've never seen them tucked so tightly and neatly before. I'm tall so the first thing I do is untuck that but the detail that was taken was noticed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great hotel in this area as most hotels are small and often simple motels. If you are here for business this will be a welcoming and familiar stay. I used the treadmill in the gym along with the pool and hot tub. Everything was very clean and well maintained. My room was clean and felt new, bed was nice and you can open the window. Breakfast was not amazing but it hit the spot so no complaints. The staff was nice and helpful.

Room was ok (had a suite) do not recommend the suite for road warrior - or at least ask if they have a desk. This one had a bar, sink, fridge, etc - which is great - but not for me. Hard to work on computer while sitting at the "bar". Also curtains were terrible at keeping the light out. I used pant hangers with their clips to hold curtains together and towels to blacken out the bottom of the windows. Breakfast as expected at a Holiday Inn Express.

This is a new hotel in New Liskeard and I recommend it. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Even in winter, they keep the common areas very clean. The complimentary morning breakfast is a good way to start the day. I stayed for 5 days and was very comfortable. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. It's well located with lots of parking and easy access to restaurants and other shopping areas.

Didn't enjoy the customer care experience despite the efforts of the lady that welcomed me. She was fine but I felt she was being hovered over. I have stayed there before and find it very pricey for so-so service in relation to other Holiday Inns across the province (I travel weekly for work and routinely stay in Holiday Inn). There was no warm fuzzy feeling at all. Had the feeling that they think they have the market cornered when they should work at making their guests feel appreciated for choosing brand loyalty. Felt excuses were made in terms of an upgrade. Certainly not the end of the world but didn't feel a genuine response was put forward and actually felt like I had put them out just by inquiring politely (Platinum). The room was still fine as was the stay but I'll likely be staying at the waterfront when in New Liskeard from now on. Management can take a few cues from a few other Holiday Inn properties, notably Timmins (#1 consistent customer service), Thunder Bay, St Catherines and the one closest to the airport on Dixon in Toronto.
