I love this hotel & restaurant ! I will definitely stay here again .. the staff were so friendly. The food was great. The rooms were very clean. Surrounded by wilderness ... we saw bears and moose in Kirkland lake, we heard wolves at night and the fishing was great ! 5 stars

Absolutely have no idea how to treat paying customers. They made us feel unwelcome from the start of what was going to be a 4 night stay that turned into 1. But still charged the full 4 days!? They requested us not to park on the asphalt because he didn’t want it to break apart??? Which we complied and the male owner proceeded to bother us after a hard days work in the rain while we tried to eat part of our supper. He was not friendly about the issue he had. And for no reason at all. All we wanted was to eat in peace and he began shouting and literally throwing a fit. Unless this is the absolute last resort which I still suggest just sleeping in your vehicle, do not stay here. I wouldn’t recommend even stopping for food. No customer service skills at all. And I’ve worked all across Canada in multiple dives. But this place has topped them all. Never been treated so terribly from someone in the hospitality business in my life. The wife was ok. She just seemed to follow her husband. Which if he treats his customers that way. I don’t blame her.

Verryyy friendly staff! Clean rooms. Very generous people. Lady gave my daughter some snacks and juice and made us fresh coffee!. Not too often you get that. Will be for sure stopping again.

What a horrible pair of people who own this establishment. They’re thieves. Our company stayed one night (2 rooms) the owners were rude so we changed motels and they charged us for 4 nights. I’m disgusted by these people.
