Excellent! Cheap and clean! Perfect for contractors coming from out of town to work at the mill. I saved a pile of money staying here and the staff is very friendly.

Very polite owners. I found the beds very comfortable and the rooms pretty clean but carpets either need to be shampooed more often or changed. Wifi was surprinsgly good better then even some upper scale hotels. It is perfectly central to all of Sault Ste Marie. Overall i enjoyed my comfy stay here.

Dirty curtains. Holes in bedspreads (cigarette by the look of it) and blanket. Large hole in carpet. Only two of the four pillows had pillowcases. Once had to ask for soap. Furniture had rip. Old and tired property. Very old vacuum tube TV took ages to work out how to operate; remote didn't work on it. No instructions of course. Room lighting appalling, very low wattage. Slight shock from bedside lamp. Exhaust fan in bathroom not working. Creaking and bending floors all over. Constantly dripping toilet. Odd lighting switch arrangements for low light wattage lamps. Ceiling tiles undulating with odd screw and glue repairs. DIY repairs in bathroom which look DIY. Only one working light in bathroom. WiFi only average and not secure. Hot water good. Stay there again? No.

This was a great budget choice for my needs. Hotel was clean and everything worked. It is worth keeping in mind however that it has not been updated in a great many years and should not be compared to a luxury or high end establishment. They do still offer VHS tapes in the office for viewing in your room. If you are looking for a cheap motel that is functional if dated it will not disappoint.
