Location was great for our needs, just passing through. We had a fantastic view of the water. My kids enjoyed just watching the boats most of the evening. Every staff member we interacted with was great and very friendly. We stayed in a 2 bed suite and it was perfect for our family of 4 and cat.

We got there and asked for a room close to the elevator, and didn't think we could get it facing the water with a nice view, too, but the front desk guy was super cool and accommodating. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a little hard to find an outlet near the bed for my phone, but that's hardly worth mentioning. It was very comfortable, and the pool was lovely, so was the hot tub.

Wonderful room! They have the green program where you don't have to have your sheets changed daily. The location is conveniently next to the downtown, the St. Mary's river and Station Mall. The staff are very friendly. My husband and I will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Sault Ste. Marie.

Enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Staff was friendly and rooms were very clean. Bedding was crisp, clean and comfortable. The view was outstanding! Had dinner and breakfast downstairs at View and experienced great service, great food and drinks, and it was wonderful that it was right downstairs.

We are currently staying at the hotel as we are traveling from the states and visiting family in Sault Ste Marie. Overall experience so far is not bad, however, I have a HUGE complaint about one thing. As a Marriott Rewards member and business owner, I choose my hotels around the Marriott brand and also the ability to work while I travel. The business lounge is for business and up until this particular experience, I’ve never had an issue with accessing and using the lounge for work related needs. On two occasions today, I attempted to access the business lounge and it is filled with children/teens playing computer games, laying all over the desks and stinking it up like a locker room. I’ve complained to the front desk and they were going to handle it. Just walked by going to go in and check work emails and it’s filled again with the same group of kids. Not good. A business lounge is for BUSINESS. Not a place to send your children to play video games they can play in their rooms. This is not a hotel I can depend on for travel business needs. We are checking out early.
