We visited the Wine Trail in northern Ohio, and planned to stay at this Motel 6. This motel is in the perfect location for anyone visiting the wine trail because its location is near the end of the trail. My wife and I heard the motel was re-branding and updating they're rooms, so thought we'd give it a shot. Terrible choice and experience. Our room was not cleaned. The beds were not made, bags of trash near the door, bathroom was not cleaned, etc...Further, the rap music blaring in the common area, and people hanging out in the parking lot did not present a welcoming presence. I'm not typically picky and have stayed at many discount motels in the past with no issue. What's concerning is Motel 6 is already paying someone to either perform these tasks, or they're easy corrections. I now do not trust Motel 6, and it's obvious they lack proper quality assurance and control. No other rooms were available, and the person tending the front desk did not offer to have the room cleaned, so I immediately asked for a full refund which was granted. I drove an hour down the road to get a room. I'll never reserve a room at a Motel 6 again, and will plan all future trips around staying at a Knights Inn, Holiday Inn Express or Marriott.

I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. It’s very quiet, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. My room was an awesome size and the bed was nice and big. If you have a dog.. in the back is all a dog walking area ! You get a fridge with a little freezer and this motel is LITERALLY right off the highway! Awesome for the price. 👏🏻👏🏻

The people working at the reception were amazing. We had ordered pizza before leaving the downtown and our taxi was late picking us up. The delivery guy left our pizza with the reception. She was so understanding and the kindness was greatly appreciated!!!

would not recommend this hotel. description of hotel is very old and they try to cover with coat of paint to try to make look new. place is covered im cigarette butts out side. rooms were clean shower there are VERY small and narrow. the shower heads were not ever shoulder height. tubs were very hard to get in and out of due to no kind of rails and the drains did not work very well. the mattresses were not very thick and not comforter able. about our stay. started made our reservations several month in advance told needed handicap accessible room. call up a month before hand to confirm our reservations. told us they put us on second floor said no elevator. asked it there be help to get a wheelchair and the person ip stair since they said they had no other rooms available. they said they do not do anything for handicap people and there hotel dose not support them in any way. they finally got us a room on first floor. over all was a clean room no frills of any kind. if don't mind a hard bed and are not disabled it be good place to stay

No hair dryer, no shampoo, no tissues, no coffee maker in room, slow Internet, smells like smoke even though non-smoking room, broken ice machine on second floor, no comfortable chair, dirty window, dirty floor in bathroom, ceiling tiles loose and stained, no elevator, no closet space, hard beds. It took multiple tries for the key cards to work in both the outdoor and room doors. I expected more for the money it cost; I have stayed at other motels that cost the same or less and had all the amenities you expect. We stayed there because it was convenient to where we were visiting, but we won't go there again.
