Cedar Rail Cottages was a wonderful place to enjoy our vacation. Myself and my 2 grandchildren had a great time. I felt safe in the surroundings with my grandkids. We had a bonfire and we had our own barbecue to cook on. At the back of the cottage the kids had a great play area. And the best part, the beach is so close. Thank you Cedar Rails!!! We will be back!!!

Great cottage, went for a couple days, cottage was clean and had everything we needed for a great time. Amazing proximity to the beach. We can't wait to go next year for a week:) And to note any bad reviews should not be taken into consideration as this cottage was neat and tidy and you have to remember you are at a cottage not a 5 star hotel:)

I am the owner of Cedar Rail Cottages. Now and then we have a legitimate concern from honest renters and I attend to their needs immediately. There is a review here that was put up by a disgruntled cleaner, posing as a renter. This cleaner did not do a very good job and this was brought to her attention a number of times. She posted a disparaging review which I cannot undo, so I feel I must explain my side. My renters come in at 4 pm on their check-in day and leave at 11 am on their check-out day. They never see the cleaners let alone have interaction with them so this proves the complaint does not make sense. I have owned these cottages for a long time and have had very few complaints, maybe two or three, in 17 years. We supply new mattresses often, new pillows every year and renters bring their own bedding, towels and other linens. The cottages are cleaned, shower curtains and bath mats are washed and replaced before each check-in. As a retired doctor I can assure you that you cannot 'catch' anything here. "If you didn't bring it here, you won't find it here" as the saying goes. Please enjoy Cedar Rails, and we welcome your family and treat them as our own. Very few people go to the trouble to post positive comments, we would welcome yours. As a further note, another post complained of us being sexist. This poster wanted to bring a group of 7 young men into our family resort. We replied we could not allow loud and boisterous partyers as it would be unfair to other families with young children. There have been various scams going around for the last few years, not just here but many other places. One of these scams entails blackmail, where a person would ask for some money or they would post a damaging review. Pretty much all the owners are now aware of these scams, and the police have imformed me to report them. Please be aware of bad reviews from anywhere as they may not be legitimate. Cheers

My family & I absolutely LOVE these cottages!! I've never been to a cottage rental that includes so many extra's. We love sitting by the campfire at night listening to the waves hit the shore. The double cottage is perfect for big families and we know people who rent all of them for extended family holidays. Thanks so much to the welcoming we get from the owners Wayne & Sandra! We look forward to our next trip :) we will be back!!

We just finished our annual 2-week vacation at Cedar Rail Cottages and once again, it was a most enjoyable holiday. The cottages are clean and cozy, the management is friendly and welcoming and always very accommodating to any special requests we may have. It is such a lovely setting, close to the beach and all the shops... can't wait til next year, wish I had more holiday time to go again this summer!!!
